2nd Annual Somerset-Pulaski BOO BASH-2026- Kid’s Events- Somerset, KY

Join us on Halloween (Saturday, October 31st) from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM for the 2nd Annual Somerset-Pulaski BOO BASH: A Downtown Trick-or-Treat Event!
This SAFE community and family event will be held on East Mount Vernon Street between South Central Avenue and Fountain Square. The street will be closed to all traffic! Downtown merchants, community partners, non-profit organizations, churches, and other businesses will be set up to provide treats and goodies for all the little ghosts, goblins, princesses, superheros, and more!
Somerset First United Methodist Church will also be providing free hot dogs and hamburgers along with a Trunk-or-Treat in their parking lot across from the church on South Central Avenue!
Plus the annual SJWC Costume Contest will take place between 5:00PM and 7:30PM near The Virginia. The come-and-go judging of handmade or home created costumes will feature categories for:
–Little Miss & Mister Spooktacular (newborn up to age 4,)
–Miss & Mister Monster Mash (ages 12 & under,)
–Teen Scream Queen & Teen Terror King (ages 13 to 17,)
–Bestie Boo Crew (any age group of friends,)
–The Frightfully Fun Family (adults & kids in one family)
–The Ultimate Boo (any child from newborn to age 12 judged best costume of the night.)

After trick-or-treating ends, plan to check out “Ghostbusters 2” at The Virginia. Tickets for the movie are $5 each plus processing fees.
